a peppery scentI love lupins – their great plume flower spikes
in early summer with that delicious candy floss-like
scent. These are a classic of any cottage
garden. The West Country Perennial Lupin
series have been bred for the most packed
flower spikes and long flowering season.Sent out as a 9cm plant or 1 Litre potted plant.

Pick the flower spikes to encourage the development of laterals and a longer flowering season. It also prevents them setting seed which weakens the plant. To avoid mildew treat thema as biennials and remove when they have finished flowering.

Plunge them in a bucket of water straight away this will stop the spikes bending towards the sun. The pea-like flowers tend to drop after 4-5 days.
