Tenderstem Broccoli ‘Kailaan’ - 5 Seedlings (190242) - This is the tender stem broccoli now sold in all the supermarkets for stir-fries. The whole long stem is as tender and tasty as the florets.
'Kailaan' is very quick and easy to grow. Harvest regularly as florets form to encourage more to follow.

June - December. This is a fast growing brassica - ready about 8-10 weeks after planting out. Pick the main head first, and enjoy the side shoots after.
Cooking Notes:
Blanch stems for 3-4 minutes in boiling water, then stir fry with the leaves and flowers with a little soy sauce.
